Ascension's Live From The Studio out on Achromatiq

August 26th 2026 sees the release of Live From The Studio, a new EP out on Australia's Achromatiq label. The release features 5 tracks that were recorded during Ascension's livestreams from the studio.

‘Live From The Studio’ features 5 hypnotic and deep live performances by Dutch artist Ascension. These tracks are raw and uncut and were captured as part of a series of livestreams from Ascension’s studio in Amsterdam.

‘Juice Acid’ is a previously unreleased track featuring heavy synths and a driving bassline intertwined with improvised synths. ‘Waving’ similarly is previously unreleased featuring a continuous hypnotic rhythm and evolving bassline. In addition, haunting atmospheric sounds and industrial elements make for a raw and psychedelic sonic adventure.

The last 3 cuts ‘Stepper’, ‘Resurrection’ and’ Midnight’ are early versions of 3 tracks that were released in 2024 as ‘Stepper EP’ (HROOM342). These live versions capture the raw essence of these tracks during a performance drenched in deep surrender and heated energy and transport the listener to newly discovered sonic worlds.
